Block Paving

All of our driveways are carried out to the specified depth of 250mm and all previous materials are removed and disposed of properly. Once the excavation is complete we’ll lay a Geo-tex membrane to prevent weed growth and add strength before the MOT type 1 aggregate stone is laid on top. Our preparation will continue by compacting this layer before laying any finishing clockwork or tarmac.

Then 50mm of grit sand is spread across the project and compacted mechanically. After this a screed is then applied to work out all water flow and levels. All of this means that you’ll have a great looking driveway that will add real value to your home.

Concrete

Although we do specialise in pattern imprinted concrete, we also offer other services to compliment your outside landscaping needs. From fencing, brickwork, decking, block paving to artificial grass we can make sure your project is fully managed by one contractor from start to finish saving you time and money.

Concrete has long been used for road surfaces and driveways but in the 50’s the Americans started to develop decorative paving techniques, which at first mimicked individual pavers and more recently became a unique form of hard standing in their own right.

Stamped concrete or Pattern imprinted concrete as it is more commonly known, works by applying colours onto the in-situ concrete and stamping with special interlocking moulds. The system combines colour surface hardeners, release agents and acrylic sealers with three-dimensional texturing tools to create remarkable designs.
